I have done it again. Pissing about with games, be bored of that soon most likely, but for the time being I have extra characters to play with in Deception. It’s much more satifying to defeat people with characters they don’t know how to use, or better still, to change their characters in game.

The game doesn’t quite have the same depth as the others though. Major enemy is the Dragon King. Where does the threat come from? Some big scaly guy comes out, roars, then you kick his arse. Sounds like half my home town. At least in the old games things were worrying. Some old guy who yells “Your soul is mine” then turns into you. That would scare the hell outta me. Else there was the evil God, which is scary enough as it is. But a Dragon King? They just picked up an arcane beasts dictionary, and turned to the first thing they knew. “Hmm, Dragons, they’re always scary, now, if we call him King everyone will be scared witless”. Yup, didn’t work.

All I need to do now is figure out how to use any characters without using a trainer. I’ll build it into the program, if I can figure out how. Fatalities every time are always a good thing. The only other thing is to find out how to actually edit the characters. I don’t give a damn about the same moves, but I’d like to bring my own chars into it. Hopefully be able to soon.

So, till I can actually pull it off, better get back to checking.
