It’s a girl

Last night we went on a road trip to Edinburgh to get a gender scan. I’ve seen scans hundreds of times before but I’ve never been able to actually make sense of them. That wasn’t the case yesterday though: I could see pretty much everything and make sense of it. I’d been terrified that I wasn’t going to understand any of it, so I’m very glad it finally made sense to me.

Anyway, the end result is that I am no longer going to be a father, but a father to a baby girl. This gives me a little more help for getting stuff, as I don’t have to worry about neutral colours. Now I just have to sort out everything that’s needed.
